Keeping up with the times is one thing, but following trusted emailing best practices at the same time should always remain a high priority.
The risk here is that since all the email clients out there don’t conform to the same set of visual standards, images are often blocked by default, with image ‘alt’ text displayed instead. This means one should remember to populate the alt tags - for example, in this case, that the promo involves a sale of high-gloss candles.
Our suggestion would be to write a short, but appealing description of the picture that will encourage recipients to click the “display images below” button to view the eflyer properly.
